Homeplug/Powerline
HomePlug is a technology that uses your home's existing power cables to distribute the network around your home.
How does homeplug work?
Good question! It's actually incredibly simple.
All you need to do is plug your Powerline (as HomePlug is also known) into the wall socket and then connect the network cable to the small device. This allows the network to travel over long distances via the household power grid, allowing you to reach more devices. Convenient, isn't it?
When to use powerline?
There are of course many scenarios where you might need to use this technology, but some of the most common are: in a two or more storey house, in a workplace, in a large apartment, to make sure the weak signal at the summer house reaches all the way through the house - and more.
