Voltage converters
Use your devices everywhere with a voltage converter
With a voltage converter, you can use your standard 230V appliances in places where you have access to 12V, such as in your car, caravan, or maybe your boat. Different voltage converters have different maximum power ratings, so make sure you buy one that suits your needs. We also talk about pure and modified sine wave. As a rule of thumb, simple electronics such as lamps and tools tend to work with modified sine waves. Advanced electronics and devices with switched power supplies often require a pure sine wave.
We have voltage converters (or current converters as they are sometimes called), both from 12V-230V and from 220V to 12V. With a power converter, you can e.g. connect your laptop in the car. Very handy for those who often go on business or car trips, or just generally spend a lot of time in the car. It can also be used for other devices such as the phone or similar. USB sockets are also available.
It works just as well to use our voltage converters in the truck or on the boat.
