The new creation from the creators of the hugely popular LEGO The Lord of the Rings is LEGO The Hobbit, inspired by the first two films in The Hobbit trilogy: The Hobbit: The Hobbit: The Hobbit, which came out in theatrical release, The Land of Smaug's Desolation.
In the interactive LEGO The Hobbit game, players can play in the settings of their favourite films and follow Bilbo Baggins the Hobbit as he is lured by the wizard Gandalf to help Thor the Oakenshield and his fellow dwarves. Bilbo leaves the safety of the Shire behind and travels across Middle-earth to help the dwarves reclaim the lost Kingdom of Erebor, located on the Lonely Mountain. Along the way, he meets the Trolls, the dangerous Orcs and, of course, Clanky and his treasured ring. Players will use and combine the dwarves' unique abilities - often with crazy results - to solve a variety of quests that will blow away all the adventures experienced in previous LEGO video games.
Features:
- Explore Middle-earth and visit key locations from the movies, such as Repunpää, and zoom through the dangerous Upper Pass over the Misty Mountains, or uncover the dark secrets of Silicon City, the Dark Forest and Rivendell
- Join a treasure hunt, dig up gems, find your enemies' hidden money, and craft powerful magical items or build huge new LEGO structures
- Play as your favourite character from The Hobbit. You can be Bilbo, Gandalf or one of the many dwarves - Thorin, Fili, Kili, Oin, Gloin, Dwalin, Balin Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Dori, Nori and Ori. Each character has their own special - and rather madcap - ability. Bombur, for example, can be used as a trampoline, allowing his companions to 'bounce on their bellies' out of danger!
- Collect, combine and forge new items from Mithril, the most valuable metal found in Middle-earth, in the Blacksmith's Workshop
- Win the puzzle game and learn to master the power of the Ring
- Adventure through Middle-earth
- Play alone or with friends
