Alfaparf was founded in 1980 thanks to the vision of Roberto Franchina, who, together with a small team of around ten people, started developing professional hair care products for hairdressers. This took place in Northern Italy, where passion for beauty and innovative technology became the basis for the company's early success.
A few years later, in 1989, Alfaparf introduced the 'Semi di Lino' range, which quickly became their first major commercial breakthrough. This product line, focused on strengthening and adding shine to hair, became a favorite among hairdressers and consumers worldwide. The very next year, in 1990, Alfaparf expanded its range by launching its permanent hair color, 'Evolution of the Color'. This marked the company's advancement in color technology and gave hairdressers new opportunities to create beautiful and long-lasting color results.
