The wash is developed with a formula that exfoliates and cleanses the skin without completely stripping the skin of moisture. At the same time, it has a pH of 4, and can thus help to create balance in the skin. The ingredients include smoothing and brightening acids that penetrate the skin and exfoliate, while botanical oils reduce irritation and retain the skin's natural moisture to keep your skin glowing. The wash does not contain ingredients that can cause inflammation in the skin, such as essential oils, drying alcohols and triclosan.
If you want to cleanse the skin twice a day, it is recommended to switch between Shasta AHA Refining Acid Wash and Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash, to strengthen the skin barrier and reduce inflammation, as the skin responds better to exfoliation if it is not irritated.
Use:
