Six years have passed since the large-scale conflict on Lunapolis when, from their headquarters on the moon, the Donpachi Corps detects a minute disturbance remaining in space-time. Investigations revealed that its cause was the massive transfer of solid matter into the past. The one responsible for this act was the Elemental Doll EXY”, supposedly destroyed at the end of the battle 6 years prior when she ran amok.
The battle between the EXY, plotting to rewrite history by travelling back in time, and the Donpachi Corps, who want to stop her, unfolds in Japan, on May 2008, and the world is once again engulfed in the flames of war. The buzzing of the bee's wings continues!
