For the first time in the Strix lineup, we introduce a 16-inch display, allowing you to see your enemy clearer than ever before. The Strix G16 easily handles even the most demanding games, supported by the 13th generation Intel Core i9-13980HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU with a total graphics power (TGP) of up to 140 W. To easily harness the full power of the graphics card while gaming, it also features a dedicated MUX switch, which supports NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology. ROG Intelligent Cooling
To fit such powerful components, the chassis and motherboard of the Strix 16 were redesigned to accommodate our new full-width heatsink. Additionally, to ensure more efficient cooling, copper fins were moved closer to the exhausts. This unique heatsink is built from three different sections, surrounding the motherboard with densely packed cooling fins. This design maximizes the hot air exhaust capacity, dramatically increasing the overall cooling efficiency of the machine. Most gaming laptops have a two-fan cooling system, but the Strix G16 features enhanced performance thanks to a third fan. This innovation helps keep the GPU and video random access memory (VRAM) cooler than ever. The Strix G16’s cooling system is a marvel of technology – it consists of seven heat pipes connected to Conductonaut Extreme thermal paste on the processor.
ROG Nebula Display
Gamers who demand the best possible motion and image clarity will love the Strix G16 – it features an incredible Nebula display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and a stunning 500 nits of brightness.
