The radio also offers access to various music streaming services such as Amazon Music, Deezer, High Res Audio, Napster, TIDAL, qobuz, Soundmachine and Calm Radio.
The hybrid radio impresses with its solid sound, which can be adjusted to your own listening preferences using an equalizer. The device supports the EWF radio warning system and Journaline radio text via DAB+.
EWF is an alarm system based on the DAB+ broadcast network, which transmits warning messages in the event of a disaster to EWF-capable DAB+ radios in a barrier-free manner and within seconds.
The radios switch to alarm mode either from the current program or from standby mode and warn the listener of a possible danger.*
The 2.4'' (6.1cm) TFT color display shows useful background information in razor-sharp detail.
Thanks to UPnP, line-in and USB media playback, music files in a wide variety of formats and from various sources can be played via the DIRA M 11i +.

Regular EWF test runs are carried out, both nationwide and regionally.
In order to be able to receive not only real emergency warnings but also test warnings via EWF, please make the following settings in your DIRA M 11i +:
Open the menu
Open the menu item “SYSTEM”
Go to the sub-item “EWF settings”
Under “ON/OFF” please activate “Alarm+Test ON”
In the sub-item “Configure Journaline” you can also activate the text service for warning messages.
