The Last Temptation of Christ is a 1988 religious drama film directed by Martin Scorsese.
The carpenter, Jesus of Nazareth, plagued by the temptations of the demons, the guilt of making crosses for the Romans, pity for people and the world, and the constant calling of God, seeks to find what God wants for him.
