A leak can cause a lot of damage, especially when you discover the leak too late, for example when you are sleeping. The water leakage detector warns us of leaks so that we can act in time. Its alarm signal is at 85 dB alarm when water is detected.
Smartwares the water leakage alarm comes with a battery with a 3-year lifespan. When the battery is about to run out, it warns with short beeps.
Installation and testing
To test the water alarm place it on a plate with some water and the alarm should go off. The water alarm can be placed anywhere on the floor, for example in the basement or under the sink. The water alarm is ultra-thin with a height of only 2.5 cm. This allows the alarm to be placed under your washing machine.
