Tapo C200 is an indoor surveillance camera from TP-LINK that watches over your home day and night and supports local recording directly to a microSD card. With motion detection, a push notification is sent to your smartphone as soon as movement is detected, and you can then go into the app to see the action in real time. You can also use two-way communication to communicate with people or pets on the other side of the camera. Tilt and rotation are controlled directly through the app, and no matter what area you want to monitor, you can count on the camera's Full HD resolution to deliver a crystal clear image.
Talk through the camera
The TP-LINK Tapo app allows you to speak directly into your phone, and what you say will be played through the surveillance camera's speakers. Since Tapo C200 is also equipped with a built-in microphone, you can hear what is being said near the camera. Two-way communication is a perfect feature for remotely communicating with family or trying to deter unwelcome guests.
Tilt and rotate
Being both tiltable and rotatable, the TP-LINK Tapo C200 alone allows you to cover a large part of your home. The camera can rotate 360° and tilt up and down 114°. Perhaps you want to see what's happening on one side of the room at one time and the other side of the same room at another, instead of needing two cameras, just go into the app and turn the camera.
See up to 10 meters in the dark
When darkness falls, the 850 nm infrared light is activated. The IR light works together with smart software to give you a reliable result, whatever the time of day. Even at night, the camera monitors your home and sees what's going on in the dark, up to 10 meters away.
Motion alerts
As soon as the camera detects motion, a notification is sent to your smartphone. You can also set what the camera does when it detects something, for example, it can flash and play sounds from its speakers to scare off intruders. When you get a notification from the camera, you can open the app to follow the action in real time.
Records to microSD card
Record quickly, easily and locally. Simply insert a microSD card (not included) into the dedicated port on the back and enable local recording in the app. The camera supports microSD cards up to 128 GB, which corresponds to approximately 384 hours of recording. In the app, you can also activate a feature called "Loop Recording". Loop Recording automatically overwrites old recordings when the memory is full, so no event goes unnoticed.
Activity Zones
Activity Zones let you decide which areas the camera should focus on. By setting activity zones, you can make the camera ignore motion in certain zones and only react to motion in the zones you want. This way, you can avoid getting unnecessary notifications about movement in areas where there are usually a lot of people, for example if the camera catches a piece of a hallway in its field of view.
