The intelligent RCV 5 robot vacuum cleaner cleans hard floors and low-wearing carpets independently and systematically. Dry dirt is transported to the integrated waste container by means of a rotating brush, a side brush on the edges and a fan. The ultrasonic sensor detects carpets, then uses the Auto Boost function for maximum suction power.
The Kärcher RCV 5 not only vacuums, it can also mop. In mopping mode, carpets are automatically avoided. The RCV 5 is sent on a survey tour via the app and automatically creates a map of rooms by sensing the environment (LiDAR). Individual cleaning parameters can be set for each room, such as which rooms should be vacuumed, mopped or left uncleaned.
Thanks to its dual laser system with camera, the flagship RCV 5 also detects and avoids flat obstacles such as cables, socks or shoes. Additional sensors prevent the device from falling down stairs, for example. The RCV 5 can be conveniently launched via the app, either by using a pre-set personalised schedule, or by pressing a button on the device. If the cleaning robot needs help, it will let you know in several situations via a sound output.
