The SmartLife app allows you to easily schedule automatic irrigation to water the garden at the set times or days with up to 10 customizable weekly schedules. Basic schedules allow you to set irrigation from 1 minute to 24 hours or you can set an interval to only open the valve a set number of seconds per minute (5 seconds - 1 minute) this is to avoid flooding an area. Both outlets are controllable independently of each other. Now you can go on holiday with no need to ask a gardener or your neighbours to water your plants or grass while you're away from home.
The Smart Water Control is IP54 waterproof and is battery powered (batteries are not included) making it 100% wireless, so there is no need for a nearby power socket for it to work. The 4 AA-batteries will last up to 6 months. It has a universal 3/4"" outlet thread, a 1” inlet thread and will be supplied with an inlet thread 3/4"" adapter.
As it works on Bluetooth, it will work absolutely anywhere, even if you do not have Wi-Fi connection at the tap. You only need to be within Bluetooth range (up to 30 meters) when you want to change the schedule.
In combination with the optionally available Nedis gateway, model WIFIZBT10CWT, it is possible to connect the Water Controller to a Wi-Fi network. This allows you to control and monitor the device with your smartphone even beyond the Bluetooth range.
