The press pot of the legendary Aerolatte combines a stainless steel frame and a jug of tempered glass, which is even dishwasher safe. With a capacity of 350ml/3 cups, there's also a handy scale on the side of the jug to see how much water you need to add per cup.
Before making the coffee, swirl a small amount of hot water in the pan and pour it away. It will prevent the formation of thermal shock and the glass will remain intact better.
Ground coffee is placed on the bottom of the press pan (slightly coarser grind than filter grind) and hot water, slightly below the boiling point (about 92-96 degrees), is poured on top. Mix the coffee-water mixture and leave for about 4 minutes. After this, the crumbs are pressed to the bottom using a sieve.
You can easily make delicious coffee using a press pan. Thanks to the cooking method, the flavors of the coffee do not remain in the filter paper, but you get more good flavors out of your coffee.
