The machine offers 20 different stitch programs, including overlock seams with easy adjustment of stitch length and width. On the display you have an overview of all the selected options. 46% less plastic – solid and strong
All the new models in the FS series are built up with the same strong metal construction. This means that plastic consumption has been reduced by as much as 46%. This is done in order to strengthen the construction so that one gets a more solid and powerful machine. To be exact, the new structure means brother guarantees perfect sewing through up to 9 layers of fabric (9 mm).
In addition to the obvious advantages of the machine's construction, which emphasizes innovation, stability and quality, you get a larger working surface with the new FS20s. The work surface expands from 14.6 cm to 15.8 cm. (distance from the needle to the edge of the right inside of the machine).
Features that complete your finish
The fully automatic 1-step buttonhole function ensures you beautiful and consistent buttonholes. You have three types to choose from. In addition, you get presser feet for zipper, overlock, blind stitch and monogram stitching. So, there is a good opportunity for nice details and finishes. This versatile machine also has a function where it automatically reinforces your seams. With this feature, you secure the loose ends of your stitching.
Smart feature at Brothers sewing machines
All Brothers sewing machines come with the smart drop-in bobbin system, which not only makes it easy to change bobbins, but also runs smoothly and silently (even at high speed). You simply put the bobbin horizontally into the machine, making it super simple to thread the machine. With the transparent lid, you are assured that it is always the right color thread that is in the machine.
