All the new models from Brother are built with the same strong metal construction. This means that plastic consumption has been reduced by as much as 46% on the new FS60x. This is done in order to strengthen the construction, so you get a more stable and powerful machine. To be exact, the new structure means that Brother guarantees perfect stitching through up to 9 layers of fabric (9 mm).
