A very useful and exclusive knife set of three knives, Japanese chef's knife, chef's knife and a paring knife. The knives have very good sharpness and are of course excellent to use for vegetables, meat, fish and more.
Size: (blades) Japanese chef's knife 18cm, chef's knife 20 cm, paring knife 9 cm. Durable material with both good performance and beautiful aesthetics. The knives give you a perfect result and are a must for the professional home cook!
Tip: do the tomato test
The so-called "tomato test" involves holding the knife you want to test between your thumb and forefinger and dragging it across the skin of the tomato without adding any weight (except for the knife itself). Ideally, the knife should also be able to cut a little way into the tomato. If it can't do this, it's time to either sharpen it or buy a new knife! Keep in mind that it is actually safer to use a razor-sharp knife than the other way around, as it reduces the risk of slipping and cutting yourself.
Orrefors Jernverk chef's knife - a quality knife
You're probably used to expecting quality when you buy products from Orrefors. This is of course also true in this case! Both the Japanese chef's knife and the so-called "regular" chef's knife are kitchen knives of very good quality!
