A very useful and exclusive set of four knives, Japanese chef's knife, chef's knife, bread knife, and a paring knife. The knives have very good sharpness and work excellently for vegetables, meat, fish, and more.
Size: (blades) Japanese chef's knife 18 cm, chef's knife 20 cm, bread knife 20 cm, paring knife 9 cm. Durable material with both good performance and beautiful aesthetics. The knives deliver a perfect result and are a must-have for the professional home cook!
Tips: Do the tomato test
The so-called "tomato test" involves holding the knife you want to test between your thumb and index finger and drawing it across the skin of the tomato without adding any weight (other than the knife's own weight). Ideally, the knife should also be able to cut a bit into the tomato. If it fails to do so, it's high time to either sharpen or buy a new knife! Remember that it's actually safer with a razor-sharp knife than the other way around, as the risk of slipping and cutting is reduced.
