Homey Bridge connects smart home devices in your home into one big package. Homey Bridge supports six different wireless technologies and up to more than 50,000 different accessories from over 1,000 different manufacturers. Connect your wireless devices to Homey Bridge and easily manage, control and automate them with the Homey app.
Up to five additional devices can be connected to the Homey Bridge controller free of charge. For more devices and sensors, users must have a paid Homey Premium subscription. Homey Bridge includes support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, 433 MHz, Infrared technologies. Connect devices with different technologies and get started. Homey automatically detects most of the devices in your home. Just search for your brand, press one or two buttons and you're ready to start.
The Homey Bridge controller can also be used in conjunction with the Homey Pro controller. In this case, Homey Bridge extends your wireless coverage, allowing additional devices to work over a wider area. When used with Homey Pro, Homey Bridge works without the Premium subscription service, which is available for a fee.
Note, Homey Bridge requires an internet connection to work. Commands and automations are not run natively, but through a cloud service. A maximum of five (5) devices can be connected to the Homey Bridge controller free of charge. If more than five devices are to be connected, a paid Homey Premium subscription service must be used. A 3-month free trial of the Premium service is included with the controller. After the trial period, there is a charge for the service. A maximum of 240 Z-Wave devices and 50 Zigbee devices can be connected to a single Homey Bridge controller.
