Screen protectors
the iPhone XR is one of the most recent iPhone models on the market, and as such, it has top-notch performance! But in order for your device to maintain its quality, it needs to be protected. For some, screen protectors may seem unnecessary - until their screen scratches and they bitterly regret their choice. Don't make the same mistake and make sure you're prepared before the accident happens instead!
With a screen protector for iPhone XR, your phone will last longer and be protected from damage and scratches. The tempered glass that most screen protectors are made of today is incredibly durable and can withstand powerful impacts without cracking the phone's display.
Go for a tempered glass screen protector for your iPhone XR
When you hear the word screen protector, you might think of the thin plastic film that usually comes with your phone. You know, the one that after a few days starts to get full of bubbles and will soon be removed. These screen protectors of the time provide some protection, and are still available for most models, but we at Teknikproffset would definitely recommend that you try a glass screen protector if you haven't done so before. The advantage of having a plastic film is mainly that they are very cheap, but the disadvantages are that bubbles often form that cannot be removed and that they do not provide very good protection.

So if glass products cost more, what are the benefits? What do you get for your money? We'll look at that below.
It may sound like a glass screen protector should be fragile, but that's not the case. They are not made of just any glass, but of tempered glass. The exact hardness is specified on each product page, but generally speaking, most of our screen protectors have a surface hardness of 9H, which provides extremely good protection. This scale is not something we invented ourselves, but the hardness of the material is based on the Mohs hardness scale - a scale created by the German mineralogist Freidrich Mohs back in the 19th century. The scale ranges from 1-10, so 9H is almost as hard as a material can get. These protections can only be scratched by extremely hard materials such as diamond or ruby. 9H is the same hardness as the sapphire crystal in fine watches, for example. In other words, it's perfect for protecting a precious object like your iPhone XR.
Note, however, that hard pressure can still damage the glass. That is, the glass will not be scratched if you scratch it with a hammer or a key, but if you drop the same hammer on the screen protector from a height, it will probably crack. The good thing, however, is that your iPhone XR's screen under the screen protector will probably still be intact even after this!
