The Fenix PD40R V3.0 is an updated version of the highly recommended V2.0 model. Fenix listened to its fans and updated the flashlight to meet the needs of users. The grip of the rotary switch was improved and now offers a non-slip grip and better adjustability even when wearing gloves. This lamp offers a staggering 3000 lumens and illuminates up to 23% further than the previous model. You can conveniently charge the lamp via the USB-C charging connector.

With PD40R V3.0, the grip of the rotary switch has been improved to provide a non-slip grip and better adjustability than the previous V2.0 model, even when wearing gloves. Switching between different power modes has been made easier, and you no longer have to worry about accidentally turning the shifter to SOS or strobe. This lamp produces a composite light pattern that is wide and load-bearing in nature. The maximum light output is a staggering 3000 lumens for the size of the lamp. The new V3.0 model illuminates up to 500 meters and as much as +23% further than the previous V2.0 model (ANSI NEMA FL1). The PD40R V3.0's wide, load-bearing beam pattern makes it ideal for efficient illumination of close-range areas at lower wattages and distant areas at higher wattages. The Fenix PD40R V2.0 is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, security guards, government and industrial maintenance applications.
Fast USB-C charging
The PD40R V3.0 can be charged instantly from the USB-C charging port of the lamp without disconnecting the battery! The lamp has a whopping 5000 mAh battery capacity to keep you going for long periods of time. A clear LED indicator light lets you see the progress of the charge and the remaining battery power. For long periods of use, it's easy to swap the battery for a fully charged one.
Please note that ARB-L18-5000 batteries manufactured before December 2022 will not work with this torch. Use the ARB-L18-5000 V2.0 battery supplied with the flashlight or the separately purchased ARB-L18-5000U or ARB-L18-4000P battery.
