Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for brush or spray painting.
X-labeled paints have a glossy finish while XF-labeled paints are matte.
These paints can be used on styrene resins, styrofoam, wood, plus all common modeling plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly without blushing or fading and can be easily mixed.
Each bottle in the Tamiya Acrylic Paint Mini series contains 10 ml of paint.
Possibility to use for airbrushing
The paint can be thinned for airbrushing with Tamiya X-20A (81030/81040/81520) Acrylic Thinner.
The paint can also be thinned for airbrushing with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner (87077). Using Tamiya Lacquer Thinner gives faster drying results and a harder finish.
For better results when brushing, use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) for a smoother finish.
