Ultra-lightweight travel model
The Ergobaby Away Carrying Backpack is a real space-saver, packed in its integrated carrying bag, it's the size of a fanny pack and weighs only 609g! However, the ultra-small storage solution unfolds into a full-size carrycot, allowing your little one to travel close to the parent, either on their chest or back. The ergonomic frog position is a safe and comfortable way for a small child to sit in the ride. In addition, a hood can be opened inside the head support padding to protect from wind and sun. With the carrycot, breastfeeding is also possible without removing the backpack or the child, just by opening the adjustment on one shoulder strap. The backpack is made of durable polyester and lined with breathable mesh fabric. If necessary, the backpack can be machine washed at 30°C in a delicate cycle.
The Ergobaby Away baby carrier can be ergonomically positioned in two different positions; on the chest with the child's face towards the parent or on the back with the child's face facing forwards.
