Master carpenter Gepetto wants nothing more than to have a son of his own. When his friend gave him a block of wood one day, he immediately started carving a wooden puppet in the shape of a boy to get a little closer to his dream. Gepetto desperately wants Pinocchio to become a real boy and one day a fairy godmother fulfils his wish and brings Pinocchio to life. However, he can only become a real boy when he has learnt to be honest and selfless.
